Lollipop Tree

I am getting married in April and on a very low budget! Therefore, I am trying to be as crafty and creative as possible.

My first task was a lollipop tree which I am very proud of.

Come and have a look at my 'How to Guide' for Netmums.

  4. Hi lovely, I used a tin foil roll for the stem and then stuck the lollies into oasis which I got for free from the florist. I then shaped it into a circle and added the lollies. Hope this helps. Would love to see your one when its finished. Xx

  5. Hi Milkshake Mummy - I love this - my sons 6th birthday is coming up and I'd love to do this but can't find your How To guide. How did you manage to get Oasis for free - they always charge me :0(

    2. Ha ha, don't you just love predictive text. It took about 150 mini lollies. Would be less if you used bigger lollies. I made a slightly bigger one too which took about 200. Depends on the size of your ball. Sometimes ASDA do the lollies on buy one get one free. X

  10. HI, Your tree looks fab, well done. i am in the middle of making one of these too, and i am around 2/3 of the way through filling my ball, i have a little problem in that the weight of the lollies has pushed the ball down the dowel and the top is now poking through. did you have this problem or have i done something wrong??? also have you any suggestions to prevent further slipping when completing my tree.

    many thanks.
